Kent Trusses uses
the latest computer technology, modern plant facilities,
and advanced equipment to produce the highest quality pre-engineered
trusses in the industry, using only 100% kiln-dried lumber
(predominantly SPF). With several lumber graders on staff
and stringent quality control we provide nothing but the
best material in our products. Computer-controlled hydraulic
presses, robotic saws, and laser-set jigging ensure consistency
while providing maximum structural integrity.
We have developed a comprehensive Identification
Tagging program which is well-known throughout the industry.
Labels are applied to critical structural points, such as
interior bearing locations, permanent bracing locations,
areas with concentrated loads, and areas requiring lamination.
Professionals know that if bracing is not installed properly,
the overall strength of a truss may be reduced by as much
as two-thirds. For long-span trusses we have developed an
installation video demonstrating the proper handling, erection,
and bracing necessary. A copy of the video is available any

• The Insulspan Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) System consists of solid, one-piece, pre-cut SIP units that are ready to install as wall, floor or roof components suitable for many residential and commercial building applications. Each SIP consists of a core of molded expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation with engineered oriented strand board (OSB) laminated to the top and bottom faces.
